The main print from Donna Becher’s glorious fabric collection, “Neutral Territory,” is almost a quilt in itself. It’s a sophisticated patchwork of squares and arcs in earthy, contemporary colors.
Most of the pieces in the collection have a beautiful dusting of gold metallic. One of the awesome things about the group is that all the pieces work so well together –
Just see how great these pieces look in this simple appliqué strip that was designed by Heidi Pridemore. The full quilt and instructions will appear in the current issue of
Simple Quilts and Sewing (out this month). You can see more at www.quiltmag.com.
Heidi created one of our quilt projects, called Abstract Patchwork. Click on the quilt to download the free pattern.
Diane Nagle also was inspired to use circles in her pieced and appliqué quilt, Pebbles and Stones. She threw in some triangles for good measure. Click on the quilt to download the free pattern.
We would love to see any projects you create from this collection. Please email photos to [email protected] and with your permission we will share them on our Facebook page!
