SPRING QUILT MARKET 2012

 

We are back from Spring Quilt Market in Kansas City, where we premiered our new fabric collections for the summer.   One of our favorite guest artists, Susie Robbins, has a new collection, Midnight Gardens, for which she made two wonderfully diverse quilts.
 
Susie is so creative!  She brought folded flowers, decorated boxes, pillows and more.

New to the P&B lineup is P. Carter Carpin, whose new collection is Love Lives Here.


It features 15 delightful, fanciful blocks, which can be used together or one at a time.

Carter and Nancy Mahoney designed the quilt project for the collection, which will be a free download on our website in July.

Gail Marie designed the Galeria Encantada collection, which has soft, beautiful pastels, rich with depth and layering.  It can be used to create exquisite clothing and quilts.

Modern Shadows is a bold, contemporary graphic collection which lends itself to a variety of projects.

Our second collection of whimsical dots, Fynn, features clean pastels and prints that will make you smile.

 
We also featured two spring collections, Scraffito and Earthtones, which have just started appearing in quilt shops.

SPRING QUILT MARKET!

We are gearing up for Quilt Market!  This year it meets in Kansas City, MO and we have a lot of new collections to show to the many quilt shop owners in attendance.  These are fabrics you will see in the quilt shops this summer, arriving in June, July and August.  We thought you’d like a little sneak peek at some of the fabrics to come.

There are several collections shown in that photo, but the main one is called “Love Lives Here” by P. Carter Carpin – a beautiful, lushly-colored group with stylized birds and flowers, and blocks creating running yardage.  It’s a winner!  Also peeking around the sides of the photo are three other collections:  “Galeria Encantada” by Gail Marie – a stunning group of densely-layered pastels;  “Fynn” – a fun and funky dot collection, and “Scratch Texture” which is the supporting texture from the “Love” collection, in many more wonderful colors.

Susie M. Robbins is back with a terrific new group called “Midnight Gardens” – here is a peek at the main print.  Sorry, you’ll have to wait to the end of the summer to see the rest of this stunning collection!

This collection is called “Modern Shadows” and is graphic and contemporary, in black, white, gray and brown.
